Narayan Das, Director, Jiva Culture |
 Dr.
Satya Narayan holds an M.Tech degree from IIT Delhi
and a PhD in Sanskrit (Agra University), as well as
eight additional shastric degrees in various subjects.
He is the author of 15 books related to Indian culture
and philosophy. Dr. Satya Narayana Das conducts
classes on ancient Indian sciences for scholars from
around the world, and has
initiated a program for preservation, translation and
publication of ancient Indian works of science and
wisdom. His library houses over 2500 texts dating back
to the 13th century.
He has produced hundreds of audio
and video lectures, and airs in in a daily morning
talk show, Jivananda, on the 7 Star Care Channel that
focuses on spirituality in daily life. He is also a
visiting professor at American Hindu University, USA. |

Pal Chauhan, President, Jiva Institute |
 Rishi
Pal Chauhan is the founder-president of Jiva Institute. A
postgraduate in Mechanical Engineering, he has over 20 years
experience in Quality Control Management both in India and the
US. Mr. Chauhan oversees the operations of all Jiva programs,
and has played a central role in the evolution and creation Jiva's novel programs and products.
These include
establishing the Jiva Public School, the Jiva Ayurvedic
Pharmacy, and the Jiva Ayurvedic Clinic.
He has forged ties with
a number of leading organizations including Media Lab Asia,

telemedicine service in India, which won the World Summit
Award in Geneva in 2003. |

Dr Partap Chauhan, Director, Jiva Ayurveda |
 Dr. Partap Chauhan (B.A.M.S.) is a silver medallist in
Ayurveda from the University of Delhi, India. Since 1992, he
has dedicated himself to popularizing Ayurveda across the
globe. Dr. Chauhan established the Jiva Ayurveda Clinic, which
treats thousands of patients each year from all over the
world. In 1995, he set up the world's first Ayurvedic website
(www.jiva.com) that provides free health consultancy, online
courses, and lifestyle advice. At the Jiva pharmacy he has
developed over 200 authentic Ayurvedic healthcare products as
per the ancient Ayurvedic traditions.
Dr. Chauhan teaches students about Ayurveda both at Jiva
as well as in other countries. His Ayurvedic TV show, Eternal
Health, has a viewership of more than 10 million people. He
has also developed innovative programs such as Ayurschool and
Ayurcorp that help students and business people integrate
Ayurveda into their daily lives. |

| Steven
Paul Rudolph |
 Originally
from the US, Steven Rudolph (M.Ed. Temple University) serves
as Jiva's Director of Education. He is a co-founder of Jiva
and has lived in India since 1994. Rudolph is a pioneer of
educational methodologies and technology in India.
He
established the Jiva Public School, a K-12 institute that uses
an innovative, holistic curriculum called ICOT, India's
Curriculum of Tomorrow. Rudolph has produced a series of 70
student textbooks and teacher training materials for Indian
teachers that have been used by hundreds of schools

throughout India.
Mr. Rudolph has provided
educational consulting to the World Bank, Unesco, Apple
Computer, Microsoft, Intel, and Indian bodies such as the NCERT,
the CBSE, the ICSE Board, and the MHRD. |

| Jaya
Devi |
Gerda Staes, well known as Jaya, is a
Sanskrit scholar and the secretary of Jiva Institute of Vedic
Studies. She was born in Antwerp, Belgium, where she graduated
in Secretarial management and languages,
along with a Teacher's degree. At the age of 22
she left her country to explore the world, soon to discover
her deep bond with Indian culture and philosophy. She has
earned a Master degree in Sanskrit and presently she is pursuing
for PhD on Madhurya Bhava in Chaitanya Sampradaya
from Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Agra, India.
She has translated Bhagavad Gita into Dutch language, published by Davidsfonds,
Leuven, Belgium. Her translation of the Hitopadesha will soon
be out. Since two years she is fully engaged in the organization and
further
development of Jiva Institute, Vrindavan, where she assists Dr.
Satya Narayana Dasa in translating and editing Sanskrit works. She
also manages the Library and Book Publishing at JIVA Vrindavan. She is dedicated to the study and teaching of Jiva Gosvami's
philosophy.
